We are very happy you will be attending the "2008 Philmont Priesthood Leadership Conference on Scouting" at the Philmont Training Center! This packet is designed to help you prepare for this great family, Church and Scouting adventure. It includes:
LDS Family Guidebook: Read it carefully and share it with your family. This booklet will answer most of your Philmont questions. For further Philmont information call 505-376-2281 x260 for LDS programs and conference information and any changes to your reservation, call Joanne at 801-530-0004.
PTC Special Request Form: Complete this form and mail it to Philmont Training Center if you, or a member of your family, have any special needs of which we need to be made aware. Please be aware that our location and facilities may prevent us from accommodating some requests.
Philmont Health & Medical Record Level A: The Level A Philmont Health and Medical Record will be needed by the following groups:
* Participants in the Mountain Trek Program (physical within the last 12 months)
* Participants in the Trailblazer 2 Program- boys ages 12 & 13 (physical within the last 36 months)
Health Information Record Level B: This form is to be used by all members of your group, regardless of age, who are coming to Philmont, except for those groups listed as needing a Level A Medical Record (see above paragraph).
Your Trip to Philmont/ Transportation & Arrival Information: Information on how & when to get here. If you are coming by public transportation and need shuttle service, please send the correct form to Philmont three (3) weeks prior to your arrival:
* Albuquerque Shuttle
* Denver/ Colorado Springs Shuttle
Local Information: Lodging and other information about Cimarron and the surrounding area.
Individual Financial Statement: This form will be sent under separate mailing directly from Philmont. If there are any corrections, please make them on the statement and return it to the Training Center. Please include a copy of the statement with any payments. This is the only billing we will send you. Make checks payable to "Philmont Scout Ranch". Payment inquiries may be made to the Training Center Registrar at 505-376-2281.
If you have made any participant additions or deletions or have any questions regarding PROGRAM or CONFERENCE content, please contact the LDS Relationships Office in Salt Lake City at 801-530-0004.
If you must cancel your reservation or any part of it, please contact the LDS Relationships Office. No other cancellations will be acknowledged.
