Cub Scouting in LDS-sponsored units is a family-centered program designed for boys ages eight, 九, and ten. The boys are introduced to Scouting at age eight, 当他们加入他们病房幼年童子军狼窝. A new Cub Scout (no matter his age) begins by earning his Bobcat badge. 在他的第一年, the eight-year-old meets weekly with his den and works on earning adventure belt loops as he completes the requirements for the Wolf badge.
